I tried it on my Steam Deck via Emudeck + different proton configurations but aside from the opening cutscene (which I blindly clicked my way to) you get audio but no video.

Any tips/updates will be really appreciated.

Dunno about Emudeck, Tried Batocera? it works alot better than Retroarch 90% of the time. But what do i know? i'm just here playing any game i want with Batocera

You ever ran Genma Oinumsha on it? If you own the rom I would love hear if it worked correctly.

If we're talking the Xbox game, it seems to be a known issue with XEMU.

No reported fix as of yet.
Yeah it sucks. I'll keep looking for other alternatives, if not I own a physical copy but I'll need an OG Xbox console.

Not to answer for Zerpina, but Batocera uses basically the same emulators you'll find in Emudeck. That's especially true of the Xbox, where XEMU is really the only game in town in terms of compatibility. It *does* get updated pretty often though, so there's a decent chance that it'll improve on Onimusha in the future.
