no I never play games on my mobile I want physical controls. Also in this day and age WHY the hell would I wanna play on small screens ? I wanna see what the hell im doing.

Don´t get me wrong I respect people that like to use their phone for gaming but not me. I did not pay 2000 bucks in installment for my Fold 6 just to play games on it. I use my phone for music, call, sms, checking my bank balance, Buss times, Digital ID.

Yeah I gotta say I can't stand mobile game controls, so there's no chance I would play on a phone.
Mind you, if I did, I would buy a cheap Android and use a Bluetooth controller. But I have a handheld that I play GBA and such on when the mood strikes me and I'm out. It's pocket-sized, so I keep it charged and with me. You never know when you'll have to wait and be bored.

I can't stand social media or doom scrolling, so I take my handheld to work with me.

(Powkiddy V90, not the most powerful device, but it can play up to SNES and Sega Genesis games fine, so it's all I need for quick gaming while waiting. Plus it folds up, so it's perfect)

I do occasionally turn to vertical mode like that when I have to see something but can't in landscape. Why wouldn't I be able to see it?
My phone is kinda broken, it has black dots all over the screen..

If I'm gonna play og GameBoy games I might play like this, but honestly most of the time I emulate on a dedicated gaming handheld.

Mostly because Smartphones are bullshit. I don't ever get a high end one cus the prices are insane and I don't see any damn point when most of what i do on a phone was easy to accomplish on a phone from 10 years ago.

I definitely do. If you have a big phone, it actually works better for your hands. At least for me. Only good for rpg's though. I'm terrible at action games on the phone.

Yeah I second this. Turn-based games only on android if I'm gonna play at all.

Lack of physical buttons make action gaming annoying as shit if not downright unplayable.

on old Samsung tablets, yeah. Never had a smartphone. But i've played Game Boy like this before. But only RPGs. I can't play platformers or any kind of action game because there's no actual buttons. Tap screen menus in an RPG though? That works.

With the resolution these systems had, they actually look better in tiny screens, expanded fully the pixelation is actually harder to distinguish. I'll give you the physical controls though.
