I love weird gimmick games that utilize a consoles...well gimmicks, to the fullest and monolith software sure did deliver with this 2008 title that only released in pal and jp regions. From performing cpr to disarming a nuke its all done with true wii waggle technology

I think its a great little b grade gem. Not fantastic, but interesting and at least worth a play through.

I never finished it back then, but I should get back to it someday. It's like the Disaster Report series went on a bender and came back hungover.

I hold a special place for games about surviving major events as a lowly fragile human. It's not like "the environment can kill you" is a novel idea, but there's something special when it's also a dangerous shift in your surroundings.

Its totally a novel concept, i played quite a bit of disaster report 4 and thats the only game that ive played thats ever come close to it in concept

I always found it weird when the most Americanized Japanese games like Disaster: Day of Crisis on the Wii and Metal Wolf Chaos on the Xbox didn't get North American releases.

Anyways, yep, I played it, initially through a softmodded Wii and more "nefarious means," but I ended up buying a physical copy on Ebay since it was so inexpensive. It's definitely a guilty pleasure of mine. It's not an exceptional game or anything, however there was nothing else like it on the Wii. It's one of the Wii games that got me excited for the Wii. Disaster: Day of Crisis, Project HAMMER (I think that was the name), and Sadness. One didn't release in America, the other two didn't release at all. ?

me being someone from the US i find it super interesting what games get full english translations but never make it state side. especially games set in america like michigan report from hell and this game. the ps2 has a host of pal only games that we severely missed out on
