Any videogame characters you look up to?

In the same vein I'd also be able to say Astolfo for the same reason

Certainly not for his upright behavior, for his altruism, for his kindness and gentleness, or for his gallantry; nahhh, in reality he is a certified asshole!!!
But simply for his certain dexterity, ability and athletic performance in some endurance sports....

Funny, honest assholes like him are more enjoyable and memorable than generic "good guys" we usually see in that kind of media. Same reason I love Ataru from Urusei Yatsura, a perverted anime/manga protagonist done right (unlike the majority of protagonists in most other similar anime/manga).

Chesed/Daniel from Lobcorp and Library of Ruina.

Those who are faithful, are trustworthy.

Periwinkle from Starry Flowers and Marie from Tomato Clinic.

This isn't just "I identify with this character for one reason or another", I actually became a better person thanks to them.

Was going to type a big gay text about them but my brain isn't cooperating right now so just go play their games lmao. Maybe later I'll write it.

travis touchdown and kratos. jecht is good father figure too.
lol! Jecht is so funny to hear unless you see his deeper characterization in the sphere videos. I also really enjoy how fleshed out he feels in Dissidia 012, stubborn as hell but still really caring to the bone.

all i really have left to do in ffx is collect the last couple of al behd primers, and fully max out the sphere grid and beat the dark aeons and the superboss. that's why i said jecht is a good father figure.
the heroes and villains are presented very interestingly in dissidia. the heroes always have to relive their character development, but the villians get to cheat, more or less; since their side always win.

Sojiro Sakura from Persona 5, may not be the best, but they guy took in two kids and tried to do right by them!

But if i was pushed, i would say Albert Weaker, as i liked the way he said "global saturation", plus i saw him as an under dog with Chris laughing at his hard work..

I probably have the weirdest combination of characters i look up to, but that'd be Yuuki Terumi from Blazblue, Adol Christin from Ys, and Arthur Morgan from RDR2(Both high and low honor). Terumi because he isn't afraid to be himself no matter what people think of him, Adol because his curious and adventurous spirit always inspires me, and Arthur Morgan because he's the kind of man who sticks to his principles to the very end.

Easy pick: Shulk

Protagonist from the most important game of my life, and a cautionary tale for those who seek revenge. It's because of him that I became much more empathetic for the people that I don't like, I don't know what made them who they are so it's not my place to judge.

I think that last part is definitely what adds to Jechts character more, that we saw how caring he was in Cosmos' side and even then on Chaos' side as he initially wants to fight everyone just for the kids to be able to go home. I guess this was all pretty reflective of his journey to becoming and being Sin in ffx as well. lovely guy

This is embarrassing, but Solid Snake is probably part of the reason I ended up joining the army back in day.

Are there any game characters you look up to, or consider a good role model? My answer would be Kiryu Kazuma:

The idea of using strength for positivity, helping those in need, standing up to bullies. Also being earnest and passionate about silly things you enjoy.
I was also going to say Kazuma Kiryu

He's so admirable, and maybe my favorite aspect of him is that never backs down from his promises even if it's completely ludicrous.
