Love Serious Sam and the the Second Encounter which you've spotlighted is one of the best shoot 'em up's of the generation imo.

I've been looking everywhere for an accurate Serious Sam T-shirt, with the black collar (it's harder to find than you'd think!)

Would also love to learn the guitar solo that plays during the outro of Serious Sam 1.

ive learned how to play serious sam with a mouse and keyboard today i usually play console ive not played pc with mouse and keyboard since the 90s

I like that series.

Is it true that they programmed a way to harass the player if the game detects a pirated copy?

OH YEAH the unkillable scorpion creature equipped with gatling guns that hunts down the player and moves 5 times faster than anything else in the game. ::warcraft-skeleton

RIP high seas voyagers xD

i got the siberian one on PS Store today for price of a bus fare decent cuz it was a PS plus offer.

Hell yeah I used to listen to music and blow shit up all day when when I had it on the original Xbox back in then day lol.

Nah im more Sam and Max fan. I did play the first Sam and max but honestly not a game that clicked with me like Duke nukem 3d or Shadow warrior or such.

I mean it´s game series I don´t mind playing but nothing I would go out of my way and buy to play.

Yeah i used to love those games, first and second encounter was the best
i actually miss those type of shooters like sam and painkiller, how do you even call those games? they definitely not a "doom like"

I dunno about that, when i was a kid me and my cousin both had pirated copies, and we beat it multiple times without any issue
I did hear the rumors about it

Me. Played it back in the early 2000's, and was blown away by the craziness of it all.

While it is boomer shooter royalty, I have not actually played it much. Despite it being one of the very first games I ever bought on Steam back when I first created my account. I own the remake trilogy and the originals, so I really should play them.

First Encounter is kind of frustrating, Second Encounter is pretty good, 2 is fun but really damn long and the jokes never really land, 3 is really boring, and I've not played 4 or any of the spinoffs.

Overall I'd still rank it above Painkiller or the Shadow Warrior reboot trilogy.
