Gamecube Any racing game for Gamecube do you recommend?

I'm looking for a racing game for the Gamecube (that isn't Mario Kart Double Dash), one that's frantic to play while I blast music at full volume.

I played the choroQ series a couple of months ago, and they are ok. I forgot the US/EU name of the game. Also there is wave race sequel, but honestly n64 racing games are much better IMO.

GT Cube (later re-released as a launch title for the Wii by the name of GT Pro Series), a console spin-off of sorts to the GT Advance trilogy for the Game Boy Advance

There's some racing minigames in Mary-Kate and Ashley Sweet 16: Licensed to Drive, but you would be doing yourself a great disservice by muting it in favor of other music. It has some of the best worst music ever.

Highly recommend R: Racing but I wouldn't necessarily describe it as frantic (it is a simulation racer after all)
If you don't mind a racing game without cars, Wave Race: Blue Storm is def worth a look!

There are also Crash Nitro Kart and Tag Team Racing if they may be your cup of cake. They're nowhere near as good as the og Team Racing for PS1 or its remake by any stretch of imagination (especially the latter. At the times when I was a full Nintendo fanboy I couldn't stand how shamelessly it ripped off Double Dash as well, and I even managed to try it. That story mode was something, I suppose).
Pac-Man World Rally is another good one if you want another videogame icon kart racing in alternative.

Definitely Smuggler's Run Warzones. I can't recommend this game to enough people.

I love Crash Nitro Kart. I played it on my old PS2, which I no longer have. I'll put it on my Wii to play again.
I'll also give Tag Team Racing a try.
