It would probably help to know what kind of genre/visual style/play style you're looking for.

I really like the Dadish Games; they are cheap.

Not on my steam computer to check my library, but off the top of my head I'd recommend Rabi Ribi. It's a pretty cute little metroidvania plus has bosses that take cues from bullet hell games.

this mf right here

If you would like to play a free turn-based strategy game you can try The Battle For Wesnoth, its been developed since around 2003 and since them has made nothing but grow upon it's original idea. Nowadays it's a pretty good game with a lot of content (specially if you include mods made by some really talented users) and you can spend a lot of time if you enjoy that kind of game. I haven't played it in some long years but I did spend a lot of time on it while growing up, and I loved every second of it. Be warned, this shit can be hard sometimes.

So if you like retro looking stuff that's well developed and has a lot of content, go ahead!

Other games? Well idk, if you're into RPGs I'm surprised nobody has mentioned OFF and Undertale yet, and although I'm sure you've already played them... well they're about the best you can get, so someone has to say it! Looking out into the RPG maker classics from the 2000, 2003 and XP era might be nice, considering there's a lot of hidden gems in there that sadly have been forgotten by many.

Almost closed my post here, but how could I forget about this? The White Chamber, I ain't telling you a shit just go play it! you WON'T be disappointed. An horror game from 2000 fucking 5

Pretty much my entire gaming experience on pc is indie, so ill just post some the stuff iv been playing.

Moonring (Modernized Ultima style crpg. Its far more playable than any other crpg iv ever played, so if you like some more western fantasy stuff i highly recommend)

Nubbys Number Factory (roguelike peggle type game, looks silly but its very fun)

Brigador (a topdown mech tactical shooter, recently finished the game and it was alot of fun. Busy listening to the audiobooks)

Popping back in with another platformer I played a while ago and really, really liked because the character is cute, the pixel art is fantastic, the setting is dystopian, the story is surprisingly decent, and the mechanics are unique:

There's also a really cool Mad Max reference ::coolmines

Mirage Feathers is extremely underrated

You've heard of The Untitled Goose Game but have you ever heard of...MIGHTY GOOSE!!!

Noita, Cross Code and World of Horror.

If you like Castlevania (and Contra...sort of), you'd like this. I know I did. And it has local co-op too but not required. You can even opt to play both characters single player but not recommended for a first playthrough.

It does have a far more copious amount of gore than Castlevania. Does that exceed the PG-13 rule?
