Playstation Games, i know. But this is more about the native pc ports than emulation, i don't know if it would fit in the PC category either since these are console games and i also tried to find a "help" category for this stuff to no avail.

Since this morning i've tried to extract, decompile and compile both of these games through OpenGoal, the thing is, both have failed each and every time, usually with the "bad allocation" error which then gives me a "decompilation failed" error, i've tried with every compatible ISO i could find for both of these games, ntsc, pal, rev 1 ntsc, (i assume it's "greatest hits"), i've tried with ISO's from here and from other sites to no avail, it even gave me different kinds of error messages that varied no matter how much space and ram i have available, i've got 8gb ram, 64 bits and at least 38gb of free space.

The first Jak and Daxter game worked like a charm on both an internal disc and on an external hdd, although it needed more space on the hdd, but it worked perfectly nonetheless, i've assumed that due to the more demanding graphics and polygons (overall memory usage) of the sequels it would need a lot more internal space, but i'm not sure if the ram i have is enough, jak 3 even got to the point of being on the "done" part of the process, only to give me an error screen on the form of an "out of memory" screen that looked more akin to a browser error, also jak ii at least 2 times doubled in size to 10.3gb for no reason, i'm assuming this is the final size, which in any i case i have the space, but not sure about the memory

i've searched online if it was because of my pc or because those games are on Beta, but you sure as hell would know that google search engine is fucking useless in 2026, i've tried to find ANY kind of information to once again...no avail, searched on the blog, nothing, searched in the general web, nothing, on reddit, nothing, i even asked the google ai and it gave me faux information (plenty of it from reddit, btw) that it was because a corrupted iso image or because the iso lacked significant files, it was none of them.

Before you ask, No, using different search engines or going deeper into the web does not help at all, this was a "last resource" situation, i've even looked at videos in the already degraded youtube only to find Nada, if it wasn't for j's reviews video on the OpengGoal trilogy i wouldn't have known that jak ii and 3 are in beta (and that was 3 months ago, btw)
And before any of that i searched on here to see if anyone else got a problem, only to get Bent because the search engine omitted the "3" on the search because of it being "too common" (very helpful)
And right when i was writing this post, it's seems neither the "pcport", "nativeport" or the "jak" tags exist, weirdly off for a retrogame site, i know it's a site more for game preservation but general discussion is still pretty common, i don't want to sound like an asshole but that's how i've felt since today.

Any help? at least knowing my pc can't handle the sequels on OpenGoal would be more helpful than whatever gaslighting most of the web gives to it's users.
