ya there GBArunner2 buts it just not the best and half the game I play crash before you even get to play.
Do you guy have any other?

uh, GBA games can be played NOT EMULATED on DS hardware. (there is a slot on the bottom of the console) just use a cartrige called Everdrive GBA and put roms on it.

Only on the old brick DS and DS lite, it was removed for the DSi and DSi XL which are the most common nowadays.

wait. I thought the DS can use the same GBA CPU architecture? (same for 3ds)
*for example x32,x64, and then x86 but same "Intel cpu"<-- that's an example I know its now intel*
thats why GBA games run full speed on DS GBA slot right?

GBARunner3 is still under development, but in any case DS phat/lite does not have enough power and RAM available to play some games, and the sound is still worse. But with an expansion pack or a Supercard SD in the gba-slot you would have 16mb and 32mb of additional RAM respectively: it would be a great help for sound performance and compatibility with more demanding titles.
Ultimately, in your case a GBA flashcard is the most effective solution. A Supercard SD is cheap and two developers have recently been perfecting two custom firmwares for this model, significantly improving it: on GBATemp you will find their projects.
