Announcing the Keroro RPG Translation Project!

Hi! As you all may or may not know, I'm Nyu (or Telli if you prefer) my friends and I translated .hack//fragment, now under the name of the Netslum Patch, it's a complete translation of the game from start to finish! It's even localized and compatible on real consoles!

That being said, I'm now working on a new project: Keroro RPG: The Knight, the Samurai, and the Legendary Pirate! Together with a friend of mine we're working on fully translating this game! While I can't currently tell you when it will be out I can at least show you some of our work!

Right now we've finished the opening movie and character names! We're working on items, more story dialogue, and other various text as we find them! I hope you guys are as excited for this project as I am c:

I'll likely use this thread to give updates from time to time as we get progress done.

While this update doesn't seem like much, I actually finished up the first room you spawn in last night! Again, while it doesn't seem like much it was a little difficult figuring out where the dialogue for everything in there was, including the bed prompt and the hints! Now that I have a better handle on how to find text in this game work should go by faster for dialogue! (Still trying to find the system dialogue like save prompts though lol)

Oh btw, may I ask if it's possible to add a function to this game (maybe try asking to any rom hacker you know), the ability to "Discard" consumable items (Tools & Cooking Ingredients).

Because, in this game the only things missing is that, once your items (Tools like Apple Gel x10, etc (the max holding is 10), Inspect x99 (only this one is special can hold to max x99 and Cooking Ingredients like Beef x15 (all cooking ingredients is max x15), you cannot pick/open treasure chest contains mentioned items, unless you use it first (in-battle) or cook it (cooking ingredients) or sell it (this means you need to go to town)

Because there is no discard items functions unlike in Tales of Heart DS. Idk if there is a possibility to borrows the item discard codes from that game. It will be perfect if it's doable. But if not, it's okay too. Just a nitpicks that I had with this game :)

A small update: I've finally finished all skits for the Hinata's House, as well as did some work on the party screen (it's just keroro as these take me an hour to get done), while the translation is still very much in an incomplete state I would like to share it with ya'll to play as it currently is if there's enough desire. I'm sorry for lack of updates, I recently (finally) got a new job so i've been busy working and going to training, leaving me very little time to work on the translation. I don't know how much progress I've made and honestly I still feel as if I've barely scratched the surface of this game. I didn't want to keep ya'll in the dark though! I've Also added some text indicating the fan translation so you'll know if the translation applied right.
