Anime Anime you always come back to

Mobile Suit Gundam Stardust Memory. One time i watched it twice in the span of 5 months. I have never done that before. It's like a comfort anime for me. Kill la Kill too, i think i must've watched that about 7 times now.

Something about "Inuyasha" always makes me want to come back to it. I adore it's whole dynamic where all the heroes are a bunch of idiots who spend more time bickering with each other rather than fighting the monster they're stuck dealing with.

Since it's mostly monster of the week episodes, I always find it easy to just go back into and marathon for a bit. No need to care about where, I can just pick some random episodes and have a great time. I end up seeing up to a big major arc before stopping. Probably experienced the whole thing ten times over at this rate.

Those "Tales of" games are very similar in the vibes that Inuyasha (and honestly everything else that Rumiko Takahashi made) and I can't wait to check out Rebirth now that it's got an English patch.

DON'T WATCH THE INUYASHA SEQUEL SERIES MADE LIKE A FEW YEARS AGO THOUGH!!!!!! IT STINKS!!!!!!!!!!!

I rewatch Blood Blockade Battlefront every couple years. It's an absurdly underwatched show, even though the ED is so famous. I think people don't like it because a) it has an underpowered protagonist and b) it doesn't have an ending, but to me those are part of its charm. I love how the protagonist relies on his resourcefulness and is otherwise kind of an average Joe trying to survive in a crazy city. And I love the episodic nature of the series, which feels like a comic book that could go on forever. The animation is also incredible, and the soundtrack is awesome.

Recently I read the manga (which goes beyond the two anime seasons) and it's amazing as well. Yasuhiro Nightow's action composition and stylish character designs are second-to-none. And I love the concept of a New York overrun by extra-dimensional beings and magic, yet still managing to function more-or-less normally. I recommend it to anyone who likes urban fantasy series.

I have seen this series so many times, I can't remember how many.
I watch this without subs and have pretty much memorized the plot/jokes.
Besides being a great 4-coma adaptation it's my go to for listening practice (aside from Steins;Gate drama cd's) and the one I've seen the most besides Chuunibyou.

It's one of the best Gundam entries, that's for sure (i watched it twice, it get's better every time). I always come back to some episodes of ZZ Gundam, it's a fun series. Ghost Sweeper Mikami, Noir or Digimon Tamers are some animes that i always like to rewatch, at least an episode of every one.

HORIMIYA. DUDE. i swear to you when i say i used to read the entire manga in one night like every two weeks. i probably read this manga a billion times. i fucking love horimiya so much, and it has SUUCH an important place in my life. its just one of those things that i put a lot of meaning in. i remember being a freshman thinking "wow miyamura is so cool, i wanna be like him" and stuff. i still adore him ofc, but highschool is kinda over for me sadly besides a few other stuff preventing me from becoming him sadly

That's a tough question let me ponder a bit here.Probably Heavy Object

Popteam epic and Aggresuko for whatever reason. Have watched popteam epic 5 times now back to back and aggresuko 3 times.

Anything from World Masterpeice Theater actually.
I love those books life lessons come to life via Japanese animation. Everything, from the stories, to the scenery, to music, everything feels special and kind of magical in its own way. They truly feel like timeless classics. For example, here's Nobody's Boy Remi opening performed by Vocalpanda on YT
And here are some pictures from Akage no Anne:

Reading this thread has made me realize that I don’t rewatch anime. I actually haven’t sat down & watched one since Golden Wind in 2019. Maybe I’m in the wrong hobby.

One anime that I've put a good amount of rewatches on is Cardcaptor Sakura. Every time I watch the show it always warms up my little Grinch heart with it's wholesome and cute interactions that the characters have with each other.

Other than that, I guess Hidamari Sketch and (call me crazy)Haruhi, but Haruhi I mostly just watch it so that I could rewatch the movie.

I don't usually rewatch anime and I really should as there are a lot of really good anime that I haven't seen in years.
