I often rewatch Tenchi Muyo, Panty and Stocking, Kobayashi's Dragon Maid as comfort shows.

Inuyasha, GiTS Standalone Complex, Space Dandy, Kill la Kill, Panty and Stocking, and Black Lagoon. Absolute heat all of them.

I was practically just doing this earlier lol

... seems I just have a interesting of habit of rewatching Magi - The Labyrinth of Magic

Otherwise ... heh ... rewatching clips of other series I watch is fine too yes ~

the redub of sailor moon is a big comfort anime for me. The remake was a hard watch for the first season & while the animation gets better (really good after season 2 imo) still doesn’t hit quite like the og

If you’re interested in getting into sailor I recommend getting into the original subtitled version or the redub (NOT the 90s dub altho I do love it for the cheese factor alone)

I was thinking a lot about this thread's topic, because I was having a lot of trouble thinking about anime that I regularly "go back" to – I usually watch a show all in one go – but, then, I realized there was an obvious answer right under my nose.

Yat-TA Yat-TA Yat-TA-MAN!!! (Yatter-WAN! AHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!)
The entire Time Bokan franchise fucking rules, but Yatterman is like a series specifically engineered for my tastes. The artwork and character design is phenomenal, all the characters are truly hilarious (I always like it when an anime series can make me literally LOL), and the formula that the show is built around is absolutely fantastic. This series and its characters has inspired a LOT of Japanese entertainment, and it's very easy to see why – it's impossible not to love both the heroes and the villains, and not to laugh at their insane, outrageous exploits, even as a cynical adult. The writers of every Time Bokan show know that parents are watching, too, and include a load of outrageous jokes and dialogue that regularly have me howling.

Both the original 1979 show and the 2008 series are excellent, and I'd say that each has their own advantages (Ai's verbal tic in the newer series is the most endearing thing imaginable). I really like how Yatterman aims for a very wide audience, and hits it all – kids enjoy the heroes, adults enjoy the villains, crazy internet people enjoy jacking off to the villainesses, and twentysomethings who still watch cartoons enjoy a very clear sense of effort and engagement from the creators. This dumb children's robot franchise really makes me happy – da koron!

Everybody who watched it loves it, Yatterman is great. I have a lot of fond memories of watching it as a kid

Fruits basket since I love how intense anime can be and how it have funny sence, I love it have a lot of drama and how we learn more about characther. It`s anime I`m never get bored to watch.

I sometimes go back and rewatch Your Name. The animation is incredible and the ending still gives me goosebumps to this day (Also the soundtrack is great)

Kill la Kill,
I dunno why, but I have watched that three times when I had access to pretty much anything, so that one has crazy rewatchability imo, since I am someone that does not really rewatch things (I feel the same for books).

Cowboy Bebop, FLCL, Haibane Renmei and Lain I have rewatched (FLCL a lot), but that is because I owned the DVD's for those, so would watch them when I didn't really have anything else.

Revolutionary Girl Utena, Slayers, Azumanga Daioh, Sailor Moon, Cardcaptor Sakura, Ranma 1/2, InuYasha, Excel Saga(if I'm feeling froggy), Kill La Kill, Magic Knight Rayearth....

there are so many.

Fullmetal Alchemist (the 2003 version) gets a lot of flack these days, but I have a deep nostalgia for it back in its original network airings in the early 2000s when I was finishing up school. Since VHS tapes were still relevant at the time I would always tape episodes on Adult Swim because of how late the airings were
