but one of my favorites is this theme, and I actually just listen to it regardless

High School of the Dead, Ao Haru Ride, Wolf Girl and Black Prince, anything MD Geist, LAST EXILE (so good), og Berserk, og Evangelion, Boogie Pop Phantom (soooo good), Serial Experiment Lane (sssooo gooood), Silent Mobius, Trigun, Cowboy Bebop, Gungrave, ... i could keep going, but ill stop there for now..

I HATE IT when people skip anime OPs & EDs. Easily one of my biggest pet peeves. Not only are they typically the best parts of an episode – complete with great animation and a catchy song – but skipping them entirely is the equivalent of giving the animation studio who poured so much time and effort into those 90 seconds a huge middle finger.

"But I just want to skip right to the action!" Dude... This OP is 1½ minutes long. Just be patient.
Not to mention, sometimes the episode will set itself up in such a way where simply skipping the OP will completely defeat the entire purpose behind that build-up.

So yeah, as you can plainly tell, I never skip intros for anime or western shows out of respect for the team(s) behind them.

I never skip the intro to any TV series I watch. Only evil people do that. Don't care if I'm watching one episode or 10 episodes, I'm watching the intro and end credits.

yeah that opening rips edit- sometimes Ill find my self humming it and wanting to watch the show just so I can rock out to the opening.. usually when a bit drunk

other good ones that just hit me are Btoom!! (great show, its like Battle Royale before it got really big mixed with Bomberman plus peoples karma coming back to them thru survival and love or hate), Fairy Tail season 1, and yes High School DxD ( the op/ end songs are actually great), Betterman (its opening really kicks me in the gut), and Maoyuu... oh! and check out Strike the Blood! fantastic opening and ending music edit- dammit, I keep remembering more.. Golden Time, Isekai Meikyuu do Harem Wo, D Frag (cuz its cute), damn I gotta stop, this will never end..

Dayum, School Rumble mentioned! I watched it earlier this year and I liked it a lot. Glad to see that there is someone else that enjoyed it.

As for me, I really like the intro of the first season of City Hunter, which, for some reasons, has been totally atomized by YouTube.

also I should mention that I really love the ending song over the opening one in Samurai Champloo.. but the opening one is still great... or hell, that song they play in ep 7 "A Risky Racket" when Shinsuke gets knived and Fuu visits his mom... that shit kills me
