I watched many animes in the last years since I was engaged and we used to binge so many new shows. This year I had a friend to back me up with many alternative stuff (and not), and holy shit if I did a full marathon of bangers:

• Blassreiter
• Rainbow
• Banana Fish
• Monster
• Digimon (from Adventure 01 to Tamers + all movies + .tri + Last Kizuna and The Beginning)
• I want to eat your pancreas
• Death Note post episode 25 (yep, never saw the last part of the series, but I knew most of the spoilers obviously)

Currently watching Spy x Family Season 3 and Digimon Frontier (when I feel like it) alternated with the new Beatbreak.

I turned into a Casual I know shameful but I started to watch new Anime for the most part when Hero Academia came out which I still consider a New Anime don't care how long its been out now it also never did Interest me it was hyped to the high heavens but it was modern slop for me, don't get me wrong if you like the Anime good for you it was just never my Taste.
Anyhow the most modern Anime I would love to watch is Helck and Frieren but only because I read the Manga and liked the story so yes I liked them before it was cool.
Its also funny to watch a Anime that you read the Manga where you can nitpick every little thing and be

In the Manga this Scene was completely different or why is this missing in the Anime ?
like in Helck where the skipped the first chapter completely in the Anime where I was hold up

Anyway meanwhile in the Frieren Anime I have nothing to complain as for now but I probably have to re read the Manga again just to be save we can't miss the nitpicking after all.

idk, but if it is, why is it a "hard pass"? why not try and have an open mind to styles of animation you're not used to? sounds a bit silly

Hokuto No Ken is one of the most influential Shounen anime/mangas of all times. I rarely heard of mature rated CGI anime that could make it justice. Or it will be some big/very competent studio to take care (and in this case: awesome, perfect, I will give faith) or, once again, hard pass from me.
I still remember other seasons of Soten No Ken being abysmal with the CGI animations it got.
Then if you like CGI stuff even in a low/medium budget (and by that I mean they leave a lot to desire for quality and animations) good for you. I wouldn't call you silly for that tho.
