There's some anime coming out next year that I'm planning to watch, which I'll also include anime that as of currently doesn't have a release date.

Yuru Camp Season 4, (Laid-Back Camp Season 4) - No release date as of currently

City the Animation - No release date as of currently

Okitsura: Fell in Love with an Okinawan Girl, but I Just Wish I Know What She's Saying - Starts airing the 5th of next month.

? Other anime that I might watch next year, (well next month since I don't know what else is going to come out after the Winter 2025 season), include Welcome to Japan, Ms. Elf!, Sorairo Utility & Kono Kaisha ni Suki na Hito ga Imasu.

I'm also not much of a modern anime guy & kinda leave it to my friends to recommend me the highlights of the season. But with that being said! I'm personally looking forward to, ya, City the Animation whenever that gets a concrete release date & more importantly:

Been waiting for the Mononoke movie for quite some time.

I also hate to say it, but I'm watching Solo Leveling S2. Was at a friends house & they had Crunchyroll so just booted Solo Leveling up one night & it was stupid. It's got that stupid guy being incredibly OP at everything. That stupid "analyzing every single thing/critical thinking" aspect going on. But I'd be damned if I didn't say I was entertained & slightly caught up in the plot.

I plan to finally watch Busou Renkin, and I plan to re-watch Katanagatari. After that I'm not sure.
Like Cris_Agev I dont watch much of the new anime so I am not aware of anything upcoming to look out for

In 2025 i'll see old stuff and rewatch bunch of series.
Don't have much enthusiasm for new animes.

I wanna see some animated movies like Tekkonkinkreet again or かぐや姫の物語 too.

If the new Panty & Stocking series actually comes out, I guess I’m going to have to watch it out of obligation. I’m no die-hard fan of the original, but it was stylish and had great visuals and music, so I suppose it’s fair to say I really like it. I already know the new show won’t be as good — that ship has sailed, and the original is 15 years old — but I really would like to see what they do with the IP, these days.

And if they reference Undertale even once, or if Toby Fox is involved in even a tangential way, I’ll nuke Trigger’s office from orbit. (y)

City the Animation looks like a Nichijou show, maybe the author is the same. I'm so glad that you showed us a new, fun and familiar show, despite some of them having no release date yet, I appreciate it!

He is! City was his next manga after Nichijou. I believe it’s a few years old, now, but this is the first time they’re animating the series.

You meant me or do you mean the person who made the City manga?
I'm thanking both I guess, you (for reminding us) and the author (for both of the show). I love Nichijou since I was a kid, it's a bit unfortunate that it only has one season though. I'm excited for this one though

I saw that it's 2016 until 2021 with 13 volumes, that's a pretty long run!
