Animal Crossing Villagers that aren't visually pleasant to look at

There's some villagers within the Animal Crossing games that a lot of people would say that they're not so visually pleasant to look at such as Al the gorilla, Tabby the cat, Moose the mouse, Rocket the gorilla, Barold the bear and so ons. Would you agree that those villagers are not so visually appealing or do their designs not bother you?

I'm not bothered by their designs, but Tabby the cat could look a lot better and sure, maybe Al the gorilla could have a better haircut, (though I find him funny as he's a lazy villager type and says some funny stuff) and some other villager could've also looked better.

That's crazy to me! Al is just a gorilla, Tabby is just down right cute, Moose has kind of a funny face goin on, Rocket is clearly part of a set of power ranger looking villagers, and Barold looks like someone I know in real life!
Here are the real ugly villagers, Merry and Diva! For some reason I just can't stand (most) villagers with hair (except horses because they in real life have a mane). For some reason I'm ok with facial hair because it adds personality, but on the head? That's too far, she's a cat, she should already be all hair!

I did mention that I find Al funny, (see images below) but I do like him since he's still in my town since early 2020.

He's hilarious if you want my honest opinion and I have updated his house a few years ago to look better then what he started with in the images above.

I was mostly giving examples of which villagers may look ugly to some people, thought there could've easily been far worse looking villagers made. I guess a cat having hair on their head may be strange but I know Raymond is very popular.

I LOVE PIETRO!!! I've always wanted to do a clown only island, but there just aren't enough clown animals!

Yeah I will be hones I like the animal crossing games but dear god do I hate the style they gone for. Yes I understand the style cute and silly for children. But if I had to pick a style I rather go with Hello kitty style.

the only charters I like in animal crossing that don´t look hideous is Isabelle and Ankha Even if Ankha looks rather silly allot of times. And I also like DJ KK because he looks like a rather normal dog.

I said it a Million times with people I talked to I would love for an animal crossing like game but with chibi anime charter instead fitting my style preference.


No im not hating on Animal crossing it´s a good game im just not fan of the style. Just like I hate how south park looks but I don´t hate south park I just don´t watch it because I don´t like the art style.
