There was a lot of fruit missing in New Horizons as well & I don't understand why they stopped at making Timmy & Tommy's store being able to get upgraded any farther then what it did.

New Leaf did have those fortune cookies or whatever they were that you could get a random Nintendo item from the in Timmy & Tommy's shop.
i played gcn, ds and then new horizons. i wasn't aware of new fruit being added, but i'm not surprised. going by that and the unnecessary patch for totk, it seems like someone or a group of people at nintendo want to more or less tell you how to have fun. "you will have five types of fruit and you will like it, and no duplicating diamonds using loading zones. now, eat the squid ink pizza and hasty fried shrooms."

It's an island that you get to have in the game, so why Nintendo didn't add more tropical fruit is a mystery.

The gyroids in New Horizons were also not the same and the older ones other then the one lonely Brewstoid gyroid came back. I was hoping to have the Lullaboid or the Bowtoid gyroids in my house within the game.
Bowtoid
Lullaboid

i don't have an explanation for you.
it's nintendo.
they just do what they want to.
it's their best strength, and best weakness.

I know, I was just saying since New Horizons has you own your own island, it would make you think Nintendo would've had more tropical fruits to make it feel more island like.

well, considering when the game came out; they may have had to cut their plans short. maybe they will be included in the next game.

Did anyone else have villagers that acted out-of-pocket? The way I understood things, New Leaf villagers could only show up to your house when invited. They approached you to ask, you set a date, and then they'd show up outside your house for the tour.

Wolf Link was already on thin ice for the OOC flirting but then bro had to escalate shit by showing up unannounced and already in my house.

It’s really cute how some of them use reading glasses :D
oh! i didn't even notice the glasses. i meant more of the style of her hair. only one character besides mine wears any sort of eyewear, and it's usually sunglasses.

I think this is the only way she’s ever looked since she’s new for NH, so I didn’t know what you meant by new hair ?

My Audie wears sunglasses on her forehead all the time, only time I’ve ever seen that as a sort of default look!

I love the Animal Crossing series. Wild World, New Leaf and the original are my all time favorites, saw the 2006 animated film that follows the source material quite well. What I want to see from a new Animal Crossing, is a return of the features New Leaf had with features from New Horizons and Pocket Camp, but this time, in a 3D sandbox gameplay version where the villagers would jump to higher heights, ride bikes, skateboards, items you wish to ride on, but are standing there as furniture. Hopefully those features get made for the new Animal Crossing game for Switch 2.

And possibly an island or town editor that allows you to move villagers houses and important buildings without the need to spend Bells in the game.

Finally did it!

I must’ve been super close for the longest time because all I did was put out a garbage can, a fountain and two statues lol
