Have this on order guy i talk to can do me a beefed up SD card for it. The last card i got off him for a powkiddy
has more SHMUPS than i know what to do with.

This one's a lot of fun. It can go up to Dreamcast and PSP as far as emulation capabilities.

With that kind of power, it can also run late-90's DOS games surprisingly well.
At least, the two or three late-90's games that I've tried work well enough.

One would wonder why they would go with an SP clamshell style design instead, protect the screen and you maintain the profile of it.
There's already plenty of SP inspired consoles to go around. It makes a nice change having something that mimics the original GBA.

They did one of those before this. Sp looks kinda boring compared to original gba but its design is more practical in my opinion too. I ended up with an sp because of this but I admit I still kinda want the gba model.

Somebody copy and pasted a screenshot of TMNT Shredders Revenge on there, and I highly doubt this thing can run that. That's a red flag right there.

I've played it on my RG35XXSP.

Portmaster shows it compatible with this device too (They're the same chip)

What purpose did you get it for?
I would travel by train for my autumn and winter holidays it will do for the hour long train journeys to my accomodation. I have been playing the powkiddy x55 quite a lot as its like a switch lite and is easy on the hands ergonomically.

Looks slick. Still need to touch my Miyoo Mini 2
i have the miyoo mini plus with 270 ps1 games on it beefed up card.

Looks cool, I wonder what are its limits on emulation.
It can do up to PSX easily, so GBA games are easy to do. 16 bit systems like SNES, Sega Genesis and Neo Geo also work well on it. It can play some PSP games with frameskipping enabled but more demanding games like God of War: Chains of Olympus will definitely cause slowdown.

Some dude on tik tok took big offence to these being sold online haha. hes probably still in the nintendo cartridge era of 98

long as it handles my arcade shmups and super aleste on the snes we will be fine. GBA with a filter to make it look like a GBA screen. I had an SP but not this edition.

I got mine through a discount and I can see the allure in using them, no doubt. The freedom of options sometimes overwhelm me though, especially since I still got functioning PSP/Vitas... ::thinking

the guy on tik tok is going mad about copyright laws over this product being sold lol. first time ive really seen someone take major offence to these handhelds. He would enjoy holidaying in turkey there are no copyright laws at all.

I have this exact one. Silver.
I love it, I just wish it was a tiny bit bigger. Maybe 4 inch screen instead of 3.5 inch.
But it is super pocketable and the clamshell means I can just throw it in a bag or pocket or wherever and not worry about the screen. Its awesome

And yes it can play Shredder's Revenge via Portmaster
