Could someone with experience emulating this console on pc lend me a hand on how to get started? Which emulator should I use? How do I configure it? Thank you in advance

Don't have any personal experience with Amiga emulation sadly, but just so it's out there: https://docs.libretro.com/library/puae/

Unless you really want to dig in with a system, I find the basic RetroArch cores can usually do the job. That site should have all the info you need to set it up.
Hope either that helps or someone with direct experience can help you out!

I've been using FS-UAE for ages now. It's probably the simplest of the bunch to get up and running. Most of the all time greats as far as games go came out for either the A500 or the A1200. Not much of a point in bothering with other machines commodore made at the time. You'll need the kickstart roms (aka Amiga BIOS). Unfortunately, mapping controllers can be a massive pain, especially if your controller doesn't work out of the box so it might be something to look out for.
