Which do you prefer?
I'm definitely leaning more towards AMD recently

There is a reason why I buy Fire insurance when I buy a Nvidia card ::flexing

never tried an AMD card, I used to avoid them because their video clipping software seemed to be leagues below Nvidia but apparently they've improved it a lot.

AMD got open source drivers

nvidia got comically low amount of VRAM or comically high prices

(switching from nvidia to amd did break my gpu passthrough setup tho)

Both companies are working towards digitally enslaving humanity, along with many other companies.

I don't know what where the graphics that my first two PCs had.

The one I had from 2010 until 2020 had an integrated Geforce 8200 and a dedicated Geforce 9500GT.

Now I'm stuck with an AMD Vega 8 igpu that AMD technically dropped support 3 years after I bought it, while doing troubled drivers and unimplemented features for OpenGL and Vulkan, that are important for emulation.

Depends really. If I'm using a Windows system AMD if Linux Nvidia.
And no, I didn't get that backward

I'd like to know the reason, they work better like that?

Had to go with Nvidia since I haven't owned an AMD card, currently using an RTX A2000 and it's so efficient it's unreal, blower style card but I replaced the fan with a hydraulic one and it's almost silent. It's the best card I can get in my SFF PC apart from a 4060 Low Profile but I'd have to use a molex to PCIE adapter so I don't know if I want to risk it. I've considered getting a used one in future but we'll see. Happy with this A2000 at the moment for what I play.
