For everyone having untranslated text on steam deck - open downloaded archive with ARK or whatever zip editor you have, go to "patch" subfolders and rename file extensions in following 3 files:

AMAGAMI.img > AMAGAMI.IMG
SCENARIO.cpk > SCENARIO.CPK
GRAPH.cpk > GRAPH.CPK

apparently linux is case sensitive and treats *.cpk and *.CPK as separate files while keeping them both in installed app folder

Someone needs to pick up this translation and translate the mahjong minigame, it's fun, has nice interactions with different characters and has actual lore. Sadly they guys who made the translation are officially done with it.

Thank you so much for this! I'm admittedly awful at this kind of stuff with regards to actual consoles instead of emulators, so I spent a humiliating amount of time trying and failing to use repatcher on my vita after jailbreaking it. I eventually gave up, but now I'm finally able to get it running even if I still feel like an idiot!

The PS2/PSP patch was split due to technical limitations they couldn't work through. This patch for the Vita version has all the routes in one.

Weirdly enough i tried the nonpdrm version and it freezes on the logo screen for kadokawa I tried pushing every button tried restarting it and no dice. I have the files in the correct place and refreshed the live area and nothing seems to be working. Has anyone else had this issue?

Just played on my Vita3K & I'm happy to say it works perfectly 99.99%.
I only have one sudden shut down at the beginning, but after that I fast-forward all the texts & it works.
