Hello, dear members!
I'm very pleased to see that we finally have an Ask Me Anything (AMA) section in here to get to know our fellow RGT users, which was a bit of a pet project of mine and something I really (REALLY) wanted to see on these boards. But, I feel that we need to set some boundaries to ensure that everyone's having fun... so here are a few rules and suggestions to guarantee a grand ole time for everyone involved:
1) Only one thread is allowed per user.
2) Please refrain from asking questions that are too personal and/or clash with the forum rules (i.e don't ask anything that may make the topic creator or anyone reading the thread uncomfortable).
3) Please stick to the question/answer format -- it is ok to have a little chatter here and there, but the thread would read much more smoothly if it keeps on track, besides... it's kind of the whole point!
4) While it is perfectly ok to bump topics that have been dormant for a while, please only do so if the thread creator is still active on the board, otherwise you'd be asking questions to a ghost.
5) Have fun!
General Suggestions:
1) I consider it a good idea to outline what kinds of questions are off-limits on the opening post -- don't be afraid to set boundaries! Not all of us are comfortable sharing the same kinds of things!
2) While answering questions is kind of the whole point, you don't have to answer every single thing thrown your way -- if a question does not interest you, feel free to ignore it.
3) If you are not interested in answering questions anymore, feel free to DM a mod and we will lock the thread for you.
That's just the general idea of what this is all about, but we can tweak the rules and the suggestions together... so don't be shy to voice your opinion!
