Even better: make a fangame then right before publishing it change every assets and names then develop a patch with the previous build's so that people could still play it as you wanted it to.


That's why Sunman got a Superman hack since they've lost the DC contract.

The 2D Metroid on the DS would've been Dread. I'm wondering how it could've been in another reality.

I love how this could be the groundwork for many Metroid remakes (like Super) or even totally original metroidvanias.

I honestly haven't played this Metroid fanmade game but it looks good as well as Super Metroid which is an amazing game too.

The download here didnt have the launcher so nothing auto updated it went straight to v1.1 game.
I downloaded it here again to check, its still 1.1 woth no launcher anywhere in it

I updated it by grabbing the launcher from Git myself

I'll update the entry ASAP then, I didn't know about that update thing. Since I downloaded the 1.5.2 zip file I thought it would be most updated one from the beginning!
