this isn't my first profile. I made one back when CDR was leaving. That's how i ended up here. I got into an argument, got frustrated and left, and then came back with a new account later on. Tends to happen. I see injustice, i gotta bitch about it. lol

Me.

Here, I guess? I actually have no idea what exactly the starting point was.

I'm not super active and I'm definitely not well-known on here, but I've been on this forum since CDR was shut down and I was on CDR for quite a few years before then.

Hello!

Been here since ᏟDᏒ was left without updates, I was a frequent user of the site and always checked the comments on things.

Now I am no longer a lurker, I try to stay away from internet socialising as much as possible but find my time on here to be interesting and it doesn't take over my life with doom scrolling.

I did speak with Spike once on twitter before the ᏟDᏒ shutdown, it was in relation to how 2D games were being perceived specifically by the UK gaming journalism in the mid to late 90's. I stopped using twitter and reddit though, I'll look things up on reddit but I do not interact there, mostly people looking for arguments. I largely come on here now. See what's up.

Also it's nice to see lots of people with similar enthusiasm as myself for old games and emulation, with specifically game preservation of some kind being the goal.

I use internet since 2005 and naturally found many pirate websites since then. In this context it has been like a month since I learned Nico Blog was related to CD Romance which I used these websites and many websites that looks similar to it which I have no idea if they are fake or also related like "Nitro Blog", but I was mostly just a random guy downloading rom which IDK if they had forums like this website have. Rom website having forum is unusual for me because most of them doesn't have such stuff. People just download and go their merry ways lol.

If this website didn't had force me to create an account which I did by for my username even pressing random keys on me keyboard that don't seem too random to avoid anti-bot measures this website may have + if I had never saw something about Racing Lagoon that it turned out it's a forum thread I wouldn't realize this website has a forum lol. I do have long history in many forums and even being a long moderator in one from my country (for a decade in a very chaotic forum lol), but because of forum dramas I was kinda reluctant to care about this forum too but besides of few troll issues this forum is cool. I do care about video games and learning about them especially because of the "retro" nature here, so I was naturally drawn to such a website but my activity here only means I'm freer these days than I usually am otherwise I would be another "just download and exit the website" user lol.

Is there such a thing of being famous in forums? lol
Emulating since 98 (the early years of ZNES), mostly lurking in the shadows and making few posts, I've been here since the Nicoblog days.

Yo fellow OGs, what do you guys do about the kids walking on your lawn? I yell at them every time to get off my damn lawn and wave my tentacles around but they never listen, kids these days.
