Alien Rage (360, PS3, Steam/PC) - Anyone remember this game?

It was this supposedly "throwback shooter", but the only thing old-school about it is the scoring system. Which plays like a worse and frustrating version of Bulletstorm. The game has regenerating health (it can be upgraded, but there are no health pick ups making it more "modern" around that time) and a two weapon limit with super standard corriror cover shoooter designs. Alien Rage I played once on my brother's PS3. The game is not available anymore on XBLA, I don't have a PS3 nor am I wasting money on streaming it with PS Now, and I am not even sure my laptop could run it. Possibly, but I rather not risk it.

Its pretty janky on PS3, lots of screen tearing and felt more like some shovelware you bought for 5 dollars on a thrift store. I forgot nearly everything about this game and the trophies for it are very straight forward.

I remember this game it was alright. Similar to Bullet Storm it tried to capitalize on peoples sickness of piss filter military shooters. In the early 2010s people wanted retro shooters but no one could really figure out how to do them right best we had for awhile was the Rise of the Triad remake but that was just okay.

At least Bulletstorm offered a weapon wheel in NG+, but that is only in Full Clip Edition. Long after the original release. I still appreciate that aspect though.

I only played the original release but I kinda want to try the VR version it's got new features like an arena mode
