I recently found that Gainax distributed some artbooks in floppy disks and I managed to find one called Alice in Wonder Wall which appears to have a lot of cool and weird artworks. Only problem is that It came in several file types that I've never heard of and got no idea on how to run or extract them either on Windows or Linux.
Also, from what I've seen .d88 files are floppies meant for pc98 or similar japanese computers, and .hfe, .mfi and .scp appear to be floppy images for windows. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.
So. I managed to get everything running just fine and got the images out. The process was a bit obtuse but it mostly boiled down to installing Dos and Windows 3.1 on a pc98 emulator (I used Neko Project II), and from there installing the floppies and getting everything out with a disk image editor once the images had been extracted.
You can find the full album over here, hope you enjoy!
