As I have stated in a few threads where food comes up I don't eat a lot...

I've never been a big eater, basically take a normal portion of food and half it. I'm small and always have been.
Anyway, not the point. My favorite thing to do for a quick pizza fix is to take a frozen pizza, as I eat thin crust, and before freezing it, pre-slice it. Ziplock it up and yoink out a slice or possibly two, depending on if I have chips or fries with it. If not, then two slices and chuck them in the air fryer for about 6 minutes on high. Soft crust and it's done.

Does anyone else do anything similar, or am I just the weirdo?

Mine is just a makeshift pizza so to speak.

Some loaf bread slices topped with tomato sauce or even plain ketchup whatever is available at the moment. Grated cheese of course, with some onions, bell peppers and anything else in the freezer be it hotdogs, meatloaves or bacon.

I just popped it in the air fryer for a few minutes and…..viola!

I have done stuff like this before, not so much with ketchup but leftover pasta sauce.
As for bread, yeah, I used toasted light bread, or what we call biscuits here in the US (or scones I think that would be the UK equivalent)

and made a quick pizza bagel-type snack. Never a bad thing! :3

What I've done if I wanted a lazy way to make a chicken sandwhich, is take some precooked chicken strips or patties that are meant to be reheated in a microwave or oven, and instead use a toaster. It'll likely take about two full cycles with the knob turned all the way, but it tastes better than using a microwave and is more convenient and heats the house up less than the oven. When you live in a cheap apartment with AC that can barely keep up with the summer heat in South US, you really can't afford to run the oven very often.

Yes, something like that. I don't think it's weird at all. I can't eat fast and I can't eat a lot in one go. I just can't really predict how far I'll get. Sometimes it's half a pizza that's leftover, other times it's just 2 slices. So, I just bake the whole pizza and save what's left for another time. However, I do think it's better to cut off a piece from a frozen pizza and not bake the whole pizza. It taste less good when you heat it up for a 2nd time.

Wouldn't using a microwave be faster? i never tried frozen pizza before.
I don’t know if it’s just me because I feel like using an air fryer is as almost as using a conventional oven. Cooking the frozen pizza slower packs in the flavor of toppings more.

It would be faster... yes, but since you haven't, as you stated tried frozen pizza.
Much less cooking one in a microwave.
The crust turns into a gummy, rubbery, tasteless wad of chewing gum is the only way I can put it.

Yes, it's edible, but I wouldn't want to. :o

Microwave is only really useful for reheating pizza, not cooking it

Don't like microwaves.
Same, i only reheat stuff in mine
People keep mentioning about frozen pizzas, ¿are they good? Here they aren't common and not good.
I can't vouch for where you are, but here it really depends on the brand.
Some are good, some are not worth bothering with. My favorite type of frozen pizza is the Tombstone brand.
Air fryer I only saw one time.
Fair point

I know this might sound whack but it really happened one time when I’m home alone. I should’ve went to the grocery that day but it’s been raining cats and dogs all throughout. It’s already dinner time and really I’m not in the mood or the moment to do something else, yeah talk about having real downtime. I checked the fridge there’re some leftover pork barbecue and 2 slices of pizza. Me feeling really exhausted during that time for some reason dump both the pizza slices and barbecue on the air fryer on one go. The end result is that pizza crust kinda tastes like barbecue. ::sailor-embarrassed

That's not that strange. I have seen my brother, after a all night Drinking bender, take leftover pizza out of the fridge, put 2 day old sloppy joe under the cheese, and reheat it so the cheese melts over it. He said it was really good. I never tried it myself, but I imagine it would be good if you like hamburger.

It’s probably good but I haven’t tried it. If it weren’t then why would some pizza joints here have some chunks of burger patties on their menu. Even Pizza Hut, Shakey’s, Yellow Cab and Domino’s are doing it here!

Ya hamburger on a pizza... I don't know about chunks of hamburger, but ground hamburger on a pizza is a common thing here. As I have said, I'm not a big beef eater, I won't eat pork. Now, I do from time to time eat a beef burger. I'm just not crazy about sloppy joe sauce... too sweet for my liking, but I'm not big on sugary stuff anyway.

It's almost like (to me anyhow) pouring liquid brown sugar over your food. BBQ sauce is another thing I rarely touch unless it's a kind of tart BBQ sauce. I do like Carolina or Kansas City styles as they don't use, as far as I can tell, much if any sweetener, and are more tart or vinegar like.

There’s this local pizza chain here named Greenwich who offered “barbecue pizza”. The toppings were like barbecued meat and they also put some sweet barbecue sauce on it. Tried it once never liked it because of the sweetness ruined it for me, I don’t know why some people enjoyed it though.

Eh.. for the same reason Some people like anchovies on pizza or ranch dressing.
Different tastes for different people. I know a girl who likes pickles and grapes on pizza.
She's not pregnant... she just likes it.

My little sister sometimes would buy those ready made pizza doughs and she would top it with shredded tuna or salmon. And also I never thought of anyone that would put some raisins on a pizza except her.
