Now with Steam it's easier to track your played hours. What is the longest you ever put into a game and do
you have any interesting stories associated with it.

Obviously Ill go first, I might have the most hours in OG Morrowind, but that's mostly due to the old-school
stealth hack where you stealth-walked into a corner, rubberbanded it that way and went about your business for hours.

then eventually, BINGO 100 stealth.
But in actuality I have the most time now with Kingdom Come Deliverance at 212.2 hours.
I am no where done with the main quest or sides and I haven't even touched the multiple DLCs.
I see this possibly going over 1000 hours. I'm disabled now (work accident) so I have all the time
in the world. So what are your stories?

Breath of The Wild

Obviouly i was used to Zelda either being Linear or open world but with reasonable sized maps, then i found a friggin' GTA map, so finding out i had to trek like five ir six miles to get MY FIRST MAP PIECE was overwhelming, just like Link himself i was lost, struggling to survive, hiding of enemies i was used to consider trash mobs and being grateful of finding rupees

As i progressed and finally cleared the first Major Dungeon (The Elephant one) i felt unkillable... attitude that killed me once i reached the Gerudo region, even then by that point i figured out the maps, gathered enough Hearts and two circles of Stamina, finally found the Korog that expands your inventory and managed to made it

By the time it was time for Ganon to be yeeted, i managed to get one layer of hearts and all three circles of Stamina, enough inventory to not bother for extra looth, mastered Stealh kills and Parry... still miss but is far less than my begginings, and managed to mix weapon combat with use of my Runic powers

By the time Ganon was defeated, i felt... good, i missed getting lost like that, granted i used guides, but even then i found some things by myself, so it something

Getting the all Memories Ending, my trip to a dead world i helped restore... roughtly 85 hours, still trying to find how to play a game for the first time again

Thats great, the thing I fear the most is that empty feeling that happens when a game that took over your life is finished.

Recently, I have like 163 hours on Helldivers 2 and Monster Hunter Wilds.

Breaking up does wonders for my gaming addiction.

Here's my Steam for more metrics about my addiction:

Me after 750+ hours of Streets of Rage 4.

I gotta be honest, back in the day I didn't play too many beat em ups. My friends and I loved
the sports games, specifically American football and hockey. There was nothing better than drinking a but load, having 4 player tournaments and the only thing we hadda do was give my buddies mom a joint and she would stay upstairs and leave us alone. Video Games, alcohol, pot and pretty girls with no supervision. Could it get any better?

but BM there is no way to do like 700 hrs on og genesis hardware right?

The last time I used rubber bands on a controller was when I played A Way Out. I didn't know anyone else playing it at the time, really wanted to play it, and I didn't want to play with a rando, so I used two controllers.

My older brother and I played sports games too, but more so him. Even unsupervised, we wouldn't even come close to touching all that stuff and get our asses kicked by our mom and dad.

Yeah i understand you Kingdom Come Deliverance can be a little BIT addicting because i put 40 hours in the first act of the second game and the rest is just making my forge busissness stealing the entire competition in kuttenberg

Sometimes, but it was usually single screen style arcade games, they would play with us, or any Atari game in the arcades. Sometimes Simpsons Arcade. Though, in the late nineties and early two thousands, our dad would sometimes play Brave Firefighters with us at a Game Crazy or Dave & Buster.

I started the second first and realized I loved it so much, I wanted to know the whole story. As I bought them as a bundle I decided to go back and start with the first one. And let me tell you, I'm not sure I have felt such a way about a video game ever. I mean, I look foward to loading it up and getting into my life there. Maybe It says something about me because im in my 50s, single and have no kids. but fuck that KCD is one of the best designed games ever. I hear KCD2 is even better, I am scared for my outside life. lol

Dude i have a Masters in Fine Arts, my mom who is artistic was always supportive. My dad however thought it was a waste of time. Which I always thought was funny because he was a truck driver, but he was blessed to be basically a musical prodigy. He could play almost any instrument by touch and ear, but had NO interest in it at all. What an asshole.

X4 - played for around 700 hours. The most interesting story I have is actually parking on a station and spending hours staring at a literal in game spreadsheet tracking down supply chain deficiencies. I did basically wipe out the Xenon which took a grotesque amount of capital and time, but that's what optimized supply chains are for.

I dont meant just playing KCD. I wanna know what yall played for hours and hours.

My old Pokemon Sapphire save file went over 999:59 playtime.

But how many hours were spent in knightly combat?
