Getter Robo Armageddon - 1998

Neo Ranga was so boring i dropped it halfway
it was literally going nowhere

i saw Brain Powerd on animax long ago, but never really watched it to have any opinion other than "man what a weird name" but it doesn't look like something i'd pick up if i wanted to watch a good mecha series

Shin Getter Robo is the highest rated Getter Robo series iirc and i have yet to watch it but i've been excited to start on it for the past decade already 😭 😂

Brain Powered was solid. B- grade.
I saw some reviews about it, they were mean so i added it first xD

Don't get my hopes up about Getter Robo please i really hope for a good classic mecha.

I haven't watched any of those, but I will probably pick up Brain Powered at some point.

I am posting cause it's obvious you like turn A (as do I) so there's another series I'd like to recommend that suffers from the same issue (that being a rushed last third of the series, god, turn a could easily have gone to 80 episodes):

Aura Battler Dunbine. I really love this one, maybe you've watched it already though.

Brain Powered is certanly unique. Yoshiyuki Tomino, the director, also directed the original Gundam and is know as "Kill 'Em All Tomino" for the high bodycount of his shows and has a very unique way of writing characters. It can be a bit jarring if you are not used to his style.

Neo Ranga is the prime case of false advertisement. The OP has almost nothing to do with the show so is better to temper your expectations.

Getter Robo Armageddon is awesome but maybe some things fly over your head if you are not familiar with Getter Robo lore. You can enjoy without prior knowledge tho.
