I've never played any of the Addams Family games that exist, do you recommend any specific one to play or which one you think is the best?

Addams Family on SNES is probably your best bet. It's a side-scrolling platformer that's open ended.

Yeah can we learn the difference between RPG and Action RPG please?

Most of the time we use other databases to follow how they categorize each game and sometimes we don't want or can't spend too much time customizing and ""fixing"" entries... and these labels change all the time, like the first Zelda being RPG when it was released etc. It's not about needing to learn anything.

ARPG is a subset. RPG tends to denote (in the implied context of a JRPG, but sometimes also used to characterize traditional western style RPGs like Fallout) a turn based and/or tactical approach to combat and/or movement. Action RPGs have roleplaying elements to some degree but are played in real time.

So, say, while Earthbound is a (J)RPG, Terranigma is an ARPG.

This was a mediocre attempt to replicate the top-down action/adventure formula very similar to zelda, but while it's playable, don't expect to find anything revolutionary or innovative in this game.
