Yeah HP and Dell are a disaster. Dell cost me a lot of repair money and in the end they wanted to fool me. Never again these brands, especially with Dell you have to be really careful !

Now Dell OptiPlex Tower shells and some of their low-end models work really good as Windows 95-7 builds. I have around 4 OptiPlex's really good. But for modern internet surfing or gaming, heck no I agree Deh

Acer is a good brand and has no bloat like oder brands. But something bothers them, I noticed that each of their devices is somehow different. How should I explain no device works the same as if every device was somehow produced by someone else.
