I wanted to read up on some Octopus articles but having to go through page after page to find his articles is tedious. Can we have a way to add a search or list of all writer guilds members which links to all their articles? I feel like that's something we should have in the article page.

Hi! We tried that a few times but it is not something XenForo accepts or will develop... At least not without us specifically paying someone to get it made through a third-party plug-in.

You can use the search function and get it to show you just threads started by Octopus, however (articles are threads here).

Owari da..Damn Xenforo useless format. I feel like myspace back in 2004 has better features then this bugger.

Using search function can be troublesome for finding threads started by a user, because it will list posts instead of threads, and even if we tick the "Display results as threads", it will include all threads that the user posted in, instead of the threads that started by that user.

However, there's another feature that can help here.
You can open the user's profile page, and click on "Find" button, and select "Find all threads by user".
The result won't be limited to article section, but currently this is the closest thing that i can think of.

Ha. Maybe. At least it's better than the paid headache known as vBulletin.

But... Amusingly: once our favorite sea creature reaches a thousand posts and unlocks profile blocks, you will see all his articles there. So it's not entirely hopeless for what you want XD

I just wish we had a list of all writer's guild members. At least if you want to read someone that only made 1 article you don't have to sift through so much.
