If you ask me older games are coming back in a BIG way. Just look at how many people have started accounts here at RGT just in 2025. Its nuts! Nearly everyone that plays video games today are looking back for new (to them) games to play.

New games on the whole suck. And every day more and more people are getting into retro/emulation.

Now, it could be that this might not be the same in the place you live on the local level, but across the world its exploding. In a good way.

Well I don't care about people if they judge me of why I play old games simple they fun there are many of them and you don't need a Internet to download a gigantic Gb to play it (and on my part I really don't like the dlc I already pay the game why should I buy for extra I rather unlock the ending)

I happy people still prefer old games is fun to have talk to and telling stories of our gaming life.

Retro gaming is still alive, and thankfully underground

When game publishers are only pushing tried-and-tested formula (and therefore just a rehash of something overused) or using nostalgia bait to peddle substandard services (not products, cuz you don't own the game), it's good that our retro scene is underground, lest they take it all away or make us pay for it as a service

Hello people you game retro MS dos

Since the question is philosophical the answer should be philosophical, not scientific, therefore my answer: 42
lolol

I wish retro consoles were properly re-released. Add a hdmi port, a hard drive and other features if you will, but don't take away the intended way to play games. Let me still use my cartridges/discs, let me play on my CRT, with the original controllers and no input lag. And don't make me have to jailbreak the console to run homebrew.

Wishful thinking, I know.
