Relatable RE tier list, nice to see Operation Raccoon City getting some love , it wasn't a "real" RE but still a good fun game.

RE 6 is the hardest to rank, I really liked Leon's campaign, liked the story and the idea of the BOW being used in global scale conflict as they were intended and all the interactions between the 4 campaigns, but Chris campaign and Jake's dragged a bit for me and the controls felt clunky, a good game tho with a lot of content, a B+

i don't get the praise for RE 7 from so many people, the first third of the game is fake gameplay(hold analogue to watch cutscene/scripted for too long) then the second third is good when you you finally get to play and explore it starts to fell like the classic RE but then

comes that boat part that was just awful to me.

I haven't played them all. Too many installments.

All I know is I love RE 4 (the original) and Dino Crisis (which I know is not technically a RE game). So that's my S tier. I like RE 2, so that's my A tier. RE5 was okay, it's C tier to me. I wasn't interested in the remakes so no comment on those.

In summary, RE 2 and 4 are the GOATs and Dino Crisis is right up there too

I loved Dino Crisis 1 and 2 , the first one had an amazing atmosphere and is better survival horror then RE to me, ammo is scarcer and dinos are faster and more dangerous, and DC 2 is one of my most played games i like everything about it. Too bad Capcom forgot about them

A tier list that does consider Resident Evil 2 Remake better than Resident Evil 2 makes my blood boil in anger lol. Well, that is applicable to ANY Resident Evil actually xD.

I looked it up thinking you had to be making a joke, but that was actually real. God damn. Is RE4 truly on literally every console since the PS2?

To give context, the zeebo is a Brazilian console with a strictly mobile game library, so all of its games are from the App Store and google play. That version is literally the iOS RE4 port on a real console. It’s hilarious.

I wonder why RE6 is so high, and I mean seriously what's so good about it? To me it felt bloated and way too long, like someone jammed 4 relatively similar games into one and called it a day. Its not a bad game as a lot brainwashed people think but it gets so repetative that I can't see why it would be so high on the list. Also I'm a big RE0 defender and don't see why people hate it so much, but whatever, different strokes I suppose.

It's a really fun action game with some really fantastic movement controls, like I wish someone else took it's gameplay style for other games as it's really fun. I loved my time with it, but I also like fairly weird things and this is also accounting for me laughing at the actual insane nonsense that goes on in it. Like whenever I see Ustanak I cannot unsee his really nice hair, and I laugh every time.

Not RE6 though. Never RE6.

That game is one of like two or three games that ever managed to genuinely make me angry and I'll always despise it for that.
That Mercenaries mode though... that might be the single best Mercenaries we ever got.

6 Mercenaries is pretty top tier, but the best for me is still 5 Mercenaries and it will never be beaten.

Completely reasonable, 5 Mercs would be right behind 6 for me and that's mostly down to the fact that I just spent way less time with it back in the day.

... Which is something I should rectify, now that I think about it!

I've spent so much time in RE5 Mercs throughout the years, like probably more time than I've played entire other games. Me and a friend double s ranked every map on the 360 version of Reunion, it was so goddamn fun.

I never did and still don't like 4. RE isnt about run and gun, VII felt like returning to form after the 4-6 garbage. Im not even going to mention what you did to Code Veronica

I will die on the hill for 5 any day, man. Like I said earlier, 7 just didn't feel like Resident Evil to me. Pretty good game, but for the RE tier list I have to put it pretty low. Code Veronica has a cool idea with Claire trapped on a prison island, but like 80% of the game is backtracking and more than the other OGs to me. I didn't really enjoy it much compared to the other OG's. I do also like the serious horror games considering REMake is also top tier on the list along with 2Make, of course.

nice to see Operation Raccoon City getting some love

The game is objectively pretty bad, but I really liked it for some reason. It's such a goofy concept, and filled with a lot of really odd choices that I can't not like it if that makes sense. I remember going into the online mode right at launch and everyone was chainstunning each other with the shoulder charge+grenade launcher combo, it was such a beautiful mess.

Interesting, it's rare to see someone put Darkside above Umbrella Chronicles. I can't get over the shaky-cam effect in Darkside personally, it really bothered me when I was playing it.
