Master System 40 years of Sega Mark III

My first home console was a Sega Master System that I might still have somewhere in a box while everyone else had a Family clone aka a clone Nes.

Because I live in Latin America and back in the late 80s and early 90s a Nes was super expensive while the clone consoles ran the same games and were cheaper.

Phantasy Star blew me sideways when it came out!

I often see people praising the controller but I preferred plugging in the Genesis controller(when it worked)

The Sega Master System controller was a tad lame, you had to go all the way to the console for using pause.

Very cool system especially the Japanese Sega Mark III. The console was really popular in European countries and South America, so the Europeans got lots of stuff we never got the in the Americas. In my country, its fondly remembered for those who grow up with it they used to call it: ''El Sega Master'' in Spanish.
