All so they can push microtransactions and shit nobody needs. I think the WWE games (by 2K) have 3 different microtransaction focused modes now, ON TOP OF a paid battle pass system.

No, thank you to paying for these games. I already have a backlog of significantly better, and less greedy, games that don't need the internet :)

Yep, seems PlayStation isn't the only one. Denuvo and 2K are now forcing 14-day online checks on 2K games with Denuvo.

good thing i dont buy anything from either of these ass hat companies in a while.. those who do should stand up tho..

Another proof, that retro-gaming is better than playing new games. I'm glad to playing nearly only old games by now.
Retro is the future, man. And not just in games. Companies nowadays are pulling all kinds of stunts. Old tech is more reliable and doesn't surprise you.

Fuck this shit, just another reason to stick with retro stuff.

Any time a new game releases that I have any sort of interest in and I see "Denuvo" on the steam page, the image of the guy reversing the car pops up in my mind.

I feel you tho honestly. I've been on Ninja Gaiden Black, Ace Combat 4, FFXIV, and Monster Hunter. New games barely get much excitement from me anymore.

Now i can't even enjoy something i bought legally with my salary from an obviously underpaid job.

I'm still not afraid to try new games, but a majority of them are indie or AA.

I'm not afraid, but I'm also not inclined to invest in premium priced current hardware and demanding new AAA games when I could be very unpleasently surprised by them. Time tested hardware and games are known quantities.

Same difference at this point.
