2014 was a stellar year for gaming, I don't think I could pick a favorite at all. I really enjoy Mario Kart 8 and Smash for Wii U and still really want to play Infamous Second Son sometime.
Terraria 1.2.4
Ths Legend of Dark Witch
Mario Kart 8
Shovel Knight: Shovel of Hope
Puyo Puyo Tetris (yeah I'm aware this released in 2017 where I am)
SHANTAE AND THE PIRATE'S CURSE (the most notable one for me personally)
Freedom Planet
Man 2014 was a wonderful time to be in. I remember the days on being interested in Freedom Planet as a young 9 year old and even though the game was e10+, my parents are (rightfully) restricting myself towards the ESRB rating and I remember watching that game's cutscenes and making references on purpose. While I did point out Dark Witch, PPT, and Shovel Knight (games I was later interested in but came out that age), 2014 was for when I started to take interest into FP and the rest of the other games
- Alien Isolation
- Dark Souls II
- Divinity: Original Sin
- The Talos Principle
- MGS V: Ground Zeroes
Honourable mentions:
- Broken Sword V: The Serpent's Curse - Five Nights at Freddy's
- Lisa: The Painful
- P.T
- Shovel Knight
- South Park: The Stick of Truth
- Trials Fusion
I was homeless at the time and unable to play any decent games.
My tent in the woods didn't have a XBOX. I remember playing
a lot of Injustice: Gods Among Us on my old droid phone.
Though I had a great phone at the time, a Samsung Galaxy
Mega 6.3. The phone was gigantic.
But it was through Metro PCS and that company sucked ass
