The negative thing with Sonic wings is the ridiculous asking price of 59.99 like bloody hell. but put it on a wish list and wait or a steam sale.

2 epic and great games from the olden days. One an old classic ported to PC like the Cotton games and acroding to Sonic wings reunion steam page a a sequel to the arcade game.

This one. Fan service aside this is actually a very solid fighting game. This is just a straight port of the Saturn version though.

Sonic Wings Reunion looks real shit. Very low effort for way too high of a price.

Yeah, even as someone who likes the series, $60 is inexcusable. I ended up grabbing it though "other" means instead.

If you're using uBlockOrigin I believe it's possible to block words in some way :)

When selling games at a price you must also think of who's undercutting you, and you may find lots of other shmups at less than $60 that are probably even more beloved. They really do need a reality check, although at least it's an actual new game rather than a re-release that requires way less investment than making a new game, like it sometimes happens.

In the past I've seen tons of shmups at 60€, and I've bought some of them, and that was PS360 time. I also bought many of them when they were released on Platinum as their price was halved, but I don't really regret on buying any of them. Shmups is a genre that 90% of the time increases its value and you never go wrong with. If you invested money and you finally don't want it, sell it and recover the money.

I just wish I had more money to buy all of them in the past because it's a genre I love (and hate).

So, in a nutshell, I don't find outrageous to ask 60€ for a new shmup but I do find infuriating to ask 80€ for a game that you can finish in a day or two and has 0 replay value (or a game that is basically a competitive pack, such as beatem'ups).
