What are your top five games of 1999?

For me is:
1 - Pocket Monsters Kin & Gin ~ Pokémon Gold Version & Silver Version
2 - Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike: Fight for the Future
3 - Garou: Mark of the Wolves
4 - Silent Hill (NTSC-J & NTSC-U Versions Only)
5 - CTR: Crash Team Racing

Extra/Bonus:
6 - Biohazard 3: Last Escape ~ Resident Evil 3: Nemesis
7 - Metal Slug X
8 - Gran Turismo 2

Metal Slug X
Garou Mark of the Wolves
Street Fighter III Third Strike
SoulCaliber
System Shock 2

99 was admittedly more difficult for me compared to 98.

Rockman Complete Works games (hey, you never said anything about rereleases)

The Misadventures of Tron Bonne

If Blizzard from 99' could see what they've become I don't think they would be any happy :loldog

Games that were personally significant for me around that time:

1. Final Fantasy VIII (PS1)
2.
The Longest Journey (PC)
3. Syphon Filter (PS1)

4. Um Jammer Lammy (PS1)
5. Command & Conquer: Tiberian Sun (PC)

Notable mentions:

Jet Force Gemini (N64)
Threads of Fate (PS1)
Legend of Legaia (PS1)
Super Smash Bros. (N64)
Planescape: Torment (PC)
Homeworld (PC)
Chrono Cross (PS1)
Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver (PS1)
Ape Escape (PS1)
Half Life: Opposing Force (PC)

The Misadventures of Tron Bonne
Such a fun game that isn't talked about much!

1999 might have been the best year for fighting games in terms of quality of releases now I'm looking over the list of games for that year.

Top 5 (In any order):

Soulcalibur
Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike
Garou: Mark of The Wolves
Ape Escape
Persona 2: Innocent Sin

Honorable mentions:

Pokemon Gold/Silver
Silent Hill
Metal Slug X (My favorite MS game and would've made the list but it is technically just an updated version of 2 which came out the year before)
JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Heritage for the Future (Similar reasons to above)
Dead or Alive 2
Crazy Taxi
Power Stone
Bangai-O

1-Biohazard 3 The Last Escape
2-Soul Reaver
3-Silent Hill
4-Maken X
5-Jet Force Gemini

Ace Combat 3 Electrosphere, Strider 2, The Misadventures of Tron Bonne, Dead or Alive 2, Shadowman, Mr. Driller, Pac-Man World, Garou Mark of the Wolves, Armored Core Master of Arena, Bangai-O, Parasite Eve II, Galerians, Silent Bomber, The Silver Case, Crash Team Racing, Dino Crisis, Spyro 2, Crash Team Racing, Gex 3, Bloody Roar 2, Persona 2 Innocent Sin, Jojo's Bizarre Adventure Heritage for the Future, Crazy Taxi, Metal Slug X, Rayman 2, Power Stone, Ape Escape, Castlevania Legacy of Darkness, Love and Destory, Ape Escape, Eretzvaju, Omega Boost, Guwange, Pokemon Gold and Silver, Rakugaki Showtime, Chrono Cross, DewPrism and Tomb Raider The Last Revelation were great too!
