Super Mario World did not release in the US until 1991. This was toward the end of the NES era. One of my favorites was Silk Worm from Sammy because it was 2 player shoot'em up. One person had a plane and the other drove a Jeep. Another one was Dusty Diamonds All Star softball. Characters were weird like a witch who could fly on her broom to catch fly balls, or a devil with a giant spiked clubbed bat. Super Mario 3 would be another favorite for 1990. I liked turning into the raccoon and flying around more than completing the levels.

Huh, Ultima VI was 1990? Not much longer until they release Underworld, which blows people away with its 3D environments that will soon be outperformed by the first game from a business software developer on a $299 console.

Anyway, Super Martin Bros 3. I feel like this list is missing most released I'd like, though.

i have no console in 1990 yet. i got it in 1992/3 I think.
and if it's about 1990 mentioned above, I played Chip n Dale a lot, and finished it a lot. one of my favorite game. I think i will need to replay it again someday
