What are your top 5 games of 1989?

Tetris [Nintendo]
Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse
Prince of Persia
Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade: The Graphic Adventure
Leisure Suit Larry III: Passionate Patti in Pursuit of the Pulsating Pectorals

1989?
Snatcher- God damn it that's 1988.

Phantasy Star II. Turns out Sega was throwing hands with the best CRPG's out there years before Nintendo/Sony would popularise JRPG's in the west.

Super Mario Land
Blazing Lazers
Legendary Axe
Last Battle

honorary mention to the copy of Super Mario for Commodore that a kid gave me on October 17, 1989. I rushed home after weeks of trying to get a copy of this mythical software. Got home and booted it up and it was... Mario? Well, that sprite is Mario, and it kinda plays like Mario, but... this isn't Mario. Is it?

Years later I would learn of Great Giana Sisters and how my version was just a hack. I still played it a lot, though. The reason I remember the date is that the San Francisco earthquake happened that day, I clicked over to the World Series and saw the news.

I will list only the ones I played during that time.

1.Batman the Movie (Amiga)
2.Tetris (Gameboy)
3. Golden Axe (Arcades)
4. Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (Amiga)
5. Mega Man 2 (NES)
