Description​

DON'T FORGET TO READ THE READ ME SO YOU KNOW HOW TO SET UP THE GAME!

Here's an interesting point and click made in Germany and Translated into English thanks to the work of nava!

You play as a knight that accidentally lets the princess get kidnapped and are seemingly framed for incompetence! Can you escape your cell and find the kidnapped princess?! Get your thinking cap on because it's a 90s point and click game so expect lots of wacky solutions to the puzzles you run across! One of my favourite parts of point and click games from that era too!

If there are any issues with the game just let me know here or give nava a poke!

My first thought upon reading the title was that it was going to be Ranma 1/2 but with a Teutonic Knight who turns into a maiden when he gets splashed with Holy Roman Empire water...

The screens actually look cool though, kind of remind me of the PS1 Discworld games. Knowing that Daedalic is behind it makes me want to check it out even more. Thanks to you all for translating and sharing. This site is so great for discovering games one never would find otherwise.

Not harsh at all. I have actually tried to find the subs before but the links I found weren't exactly functional nor helpful, so I am directly blaming Google for that one. :P

Also, feel free to ignore this given it's a bit of a request, but if any translation buffs can do "(T)Raumschiff Surprise: Periode 1" I would jump on that in an instant. According to my partner it's a pretty dumb comedy and, given I am highly unlikely to ever find it subbed in English (and my German is iffy at beat), the game would be a nice way to check it out.

Again, just a request, shot in the dark, but I figured if a German movie game got translated then it's worth asking about another German movie. :P

In case anybody is on the fence about this- played the first few areas:

- I only understand a tiny bit of German but script and voice acting seem excellent, translation very high quality.
- Puzzles were about same level as something from Deponia 1. Which is to say very good.
- Art is excellent, about on par with Deponia 1 again.

Thanks for making this available! Definitely a hidden gem worth a look for any adventure game fan. God knows we are starved for solid entries like this one.

If it's a scummvm game. Then it may be another 2 year project. Thanku for the suggestion but im just the editor. The translater @nava may want to take a break and it was a passion project. But someone else reading this thread might be curious enough to do it. Glad we can share this game with u and others and entertain a married couple. ;)

This version by Nava is the definitive version. do not use the old Havas79 english version from abandonware or the nocd exe from that site as both are not up to this translated standard and are not formatted well and are missing item names in the inventory, etc. Nava is currently in the process to submit his work to abandonware. :) thank you.

No but it does look like him and he would totally fit the timeline as fire and ice was made in 2011. but the actor portraying Lanze is Tilman Valentin Schweiger, a very successful German filmmaker.
