I will try playing it vanilla first but I think that Goldeneye, Medal of Honour and Halo were the few old school console FPS to make it right before we got the modernised twin stick control.

On a side note the game was developed by Eurocom, the same that would a decade later make Quantum of Solace then Goldeneye Wii/Reloaded.
I really should play MoH.
