Game Description:
This freeware, open-source remake of the platform game from 1987 (Knightmare II: The Maze of Galious) replaces the limited graphics and sounds of the 8-bit original with several custom-built new sets.
The gameplay remains the same. Shrines appear on certain rooms, containing an oracle that helps the player in some way, by giving advice and hints, selling new weapons and tools, or saving progress with the password system. The 45-characters password can be noted down and entered manually like in the original, or saved and loaded from the disk. The graphics and sounds sets can also be changed on the fly with keyboard keys. - MobyGames
