Game Description:

Dennou Taisen DroneZ + DroneZ 2001 Tech Demo is a Action video game published by Noviy Disk and developed by SpinVector s.r.l, Zetha Gamez BV released on 2001 for Microsoft Windows.

DON'T FORGET TO READ THE READ ME! THE 2001 TECH DEMO VERSION IS A BIT WEIRD AND MAY TAKE A FEW BOOTS TO START!

DroneZ XL is a single-player futuristic shooter. The player is guiding a male or female avatar through a virtual reality, representing the future world for humans living in suspended animation vats while their bodies are being cared for by insects and their minds are prevented from leaving the virtual world by its dominant AI. The task is for the character to jump/travel on discs representing memory bits in an organic computer, while avoiding wall mounted cannons, electrical fields and various aliens trying to stop you from escaping the virtual reality into the real world.

I love tech demos and love when they get full games even more! This is a collection that has both the 2001 tech demo that came with NVIDIA's GeForce 3 graphics cards and the 2004 full release that was only released on PC in Russia and Xbox in Japan. Luckily, someone has made an English patch so you can experience both the tech demo and the full game we never got right here!

It's so cool I even made a little .gif for the English patch area! This game was a benchmark for the GeForce 3 so why not bring that energy to everyone on the site too!

Enjoy!
