For whatever reason I really like Halloween so I try to celebrate it in my my own way:

I put my Halloween avatar, set my PC with more Spooky theme and try to use spooky skins/costumes on my games.

This year, however, I would like to add a new tradition: playing (and hopefully finishing) and spooky game. From my collection I will try to beat:

The original DooM 3 on my OG Xbox:

Hopefully the remake or Resident Evil 2 or at least one of the DMC (Tho it is more complicated since I dont think I will have that much time free).

I think I will also play some spooky scenarios in ArmA 3 online with my brother or at the very least I will play Ghoul Forest 3 with him some day near the day itself:

So, what about you guys? Doing some gaming spooky celebration?

I tried to get through Signalis but I never got the time to do it. I do try to get through a few movies for October and got 2 done and there's still time for more. Maybe I'll go tackle Spirit Hunter NG since I left it hanging for about 4 years now.

I guess I'll finish Silent Hill f. Not all that enthusiastic about it, but I'm only halfway through the first playthrough.

I don't play spooky games, but any title that has a nice autumm vibe enters for me, same thing for more winter-esque ones at december.

Even though I’ve already played it and beaten it before, I don’t really mind going back to it again. Sometimes revisiting a game you’ve already finished can be just as enjoyable as the first time—especially if it’s been a while. You notice things you missed, maybe try a different approach, or just enjoy the familiarity of it all.

I have no idea what spooktober is
Spooktober is an internet nickname for the month of October, where people celebrate Halloween all month long. It’s mostly about sharing spooky memes, playing horror games, watching scary movies, and posting Halloween-themed content. Think of it as a fun, extended version of Halloween that lasts the entire month instead of just one day.

Other than finishing Clock Tower for the nostalgia society I might try and playthrough Mystic Nights before the month's end.

Also I just finished War of The Dead on PC Engine not to long ago but that was in September, I'm still gonna count it anyway.

See everything I am reviewing? That.

I like horror games.

I mostly play horror games anyway, so this is just another month for me. That being said, the most October-coded game I ever played was Night In The Woods. It has strong Autumn and pre-Halloween vibes, and game's events literally take place during October. I didn't know and didn't plan that beforehand so it was a very nice surprise. I still remember that October fondly and wish I could relive it again.

Fair enough it's not a big thing where I live in Australia

It's bigger in the major cities though I remember my niece's and nephews trick or treating but my kids aren't interested in it plus I find it stupid letting kids go out begging for lollies from strangers who could be kiddy fiddlers
