"This release focuses heavily on bug fixes, with a touch of quality-of-life features, debugging tools, and small but welcome improvements across the board. There are no major improvements or new features this time.

Official ARM Windows and FreeBSD builds have arrived, thanks to @tordona and @bsdcode respectively. You can find the Windows version attached in this release and the FreeBSD version in the ports collection."

Here is the official compatibility list:

Nightly builds are available here.

Since the recent launch of this emulator, which, by the way, only just hit the scene, not a single update has gone to waste. Each new patch has been steadily ironing out compatibility issues, making noticeable improvements with every release. It's clear the developers are on a mission to fine-tune performance and broaden support, and they're doing a solid job of it so far.

Welcome to the Ymir hype train bud

If someone has a question about the emulator you could ask me or go to Ymir's Discord.

And don't be hesitant to try it!
Could become your new favorite, or if you find a bug or have a suggestion for the dev he answers quickly and it's a nice person.

Noted.

I really need to try it out more. Mednafen was the only Saturn emulator I ever really got to work and it's... fine.

Ymir it's really good, not perfect yet but if you keep using it probably can become the defacto Saturn emulator if you want an standalone and simple to use emulator that just works, kind of like Duckstation.

WOW, this is slick. Love the interface, and the speed in Panzer Dragoon is nice. Runs well.

Anyone know how to port my Mednafen saves over to Ymir though? I have an near end game save for Shining the Holy Ark and don't feel like starting over in the new emulator.

Ymir has a Save Manager, you can use it to import the save file, it's similar to the Duckstation one.

On the emulator, click on File, then down on Back Up Memory Manager.

Ahhh good, it actually took the .bkr file and added it to the system memory. Very nice.
