What are some off the wall, just kind of crazy or wild ideas for games have you ever had?
Lately I've been thinking of the idea of some kind management sim set in the world of pokemon.
But probably not in the way you're thinking. See I figure in the pokemon world, humans being humans, a lot of technology was probably replaced by just enslaving pokemon to do the job. So like, instead of airlines just a fleet of some kind of flying pokemon. Instead of powerplants a bunch of voltorbs or something.
So I was thinking some kind of of industrial or logistical management sim where you're managing different pokemon that run different industrial processes in a facility or some kind of transport/business tycoon type thing, but with pokemon. I feel like there could be some potential.
You could balance between having harder to control but more productive pokemon vs easier to manage but less productive ones. You'd obviously have to consider the upkeep and needs of the pokemon. Different species could have different requirements, things like that. You could unexpected chaotic events occur. I feel like there's a lot of potential for some really creative applications of this idea.
