What are some off the wall, just kind of crazy or wild ideas for games have you ever had?

Lately I've been thinking of the idea of some kind management sim set in the world of pokemon.

But probably not in the way you're thinking. See I figure in the pokemon world, humans being humans, a lot of technology was probably replaced by just enslaving pokemon to do the job. So like, instead of airlines just a fleet of some kind of flying pokemon. Instead of powerplants a bunch of voltorbs or something.

So I was thinking some kind of of industrial or logistical management sim where you're managing different pokemon that run different industrial processes in a facility or some kind of transport/business tycoon type thing, but with pokemon. I feel like there could be some potential.

You could balance between having harder to control but more productive pokemon vs easier to manage but less productive ones. You'd obviously have to consider the upkeep and needs of the pokemon. Different species could have different requirements, things like that. You could unexpected chaotic events occur. I feel like there's a lot of potential for some really creative applications of this idea.

I had a dream the other night that there was an open world Winnie the Pooh game, but the graphics were all FMV and the characters were like people in mascot suits.

like the old Disney Channel show?

I've been contemplating learning some SMS programming so I can create my own homebrew games for the Master System/Game Gear.

I wanted to really push the hardware a bit considering it has a lot of decent capabilities, and I know there are a couple of genres that coule have really done with some love on the platform, so my two ideas are:

1 - A Horror Adventure Game

Adventure game in the point and click sense. Basically, after seeing the detail you can achieve on a Master System I thought that it would be really interesting to see if we can pull of something Clock Tower-esque. Would probably feature a lot of high-res pixel art of gory/horrific situations as I can't imagine what other stricks you could use to creep someone out on a Master System.

2 - Monster-Capturing RPG

I've recently come around to the idea of the SMS being an RPG power-house when it comes to 8-bit games, but I also know that there's a ton of untapped potential here. I'd love to make a SEGA-themed monster hunting RPG. Think pokemon but some of the creatures that you can capture would be references to various sega characters (i.e. one of them is a flicky that evolves into like billy hatcher or w/e) Woudl deffo be toungue in cheek and full of fan-based meta jokes.
