This pertains to the True Analogs mod available on The Repo. Like so many fun patched ISOs, PCSX2 doesn't pick it up for auto-patching widescreen support since the disk image's contents have been modified. I'll be damned if I wasn't going to reap the benefits of future space technology through my replay of the Armored Core franchise, so I slapped together this patch.

Where to Place the Patch:
Linux
: ~/.config/PCSX2/patches/
Windows: C:\Users\[Username]\Documents\PCSX2\patches (Obviously, replace "[Username]" with whatever Windows truncated your username to in your filesystem there.)

Enabling the Patch:
Once you've placed it in the proper directory, you can enable it by right-clicking on the game in your PCSX2 library > Properties... > Patches > tick the Enabled box on Widescreen Hack.

Notes:
This is for the Armored Core 3 - True-Analogs (v1.3)[VanLaser].7z version of AC3 True Analogs, not the Armored Core 3 - True-Analogs (v1.3)[UNDUB].7z variant of the patch - that one won't have the same CRC. That should be easy to adjust, I just didn't have the file on-hand.

This was tested on the QT version of PCSX2 v2.3.0, on Kubuntu 24.04 LTS.

The file is attached to this post. If you'd rather copy-paste the text, just slap it in a file named SLUS-20435_18B181E9.pnach:
Code:
gametitle=Armored Core 3 [SLUS-20435] [18B181E9]

Thanks for the guide I plan to play this game after completing AC2. I've finished the AC on PSX with controls remapped without checking the true analog hacks, but next time I will use them gladly.

Thanks i will give it a run soon. I loved this one growing up
