PS5 Why the PS5 is the worst PlayStation ever

Compared to my other consoles I play with my ps5 the least out of any console, I only use it to watch tv shows or movies, and there are barley any exclusives besides the 50th port of the god d—n last of f—king last of us instead of originals, the only thing keeping it in my collection is Astro Bot because any other games I wanna play like A Hat in Time, Celeste, and many more are also on switch and steam so whenever I get my steam account my ps5 will basically be a useful as stick to me

Sounds like a personal issue. I played Rise of Ronin on Release, had a great time, Armored Core 6 was great on it. Astrobot, FFXVI, everything I bought for PS4 that I got free upgrades on Demons Souls Remake is a good time. And once I pick up Death Stranding 2 itll get used once more. FFVII R2 as well.

Its not the worst playstation ever, its one of the better ones. Gaming landscape is just different.
Youre too young too see how far we've come. Im sorry you missed out on the golden age but in terms of being young and having a console? PS5 is pretty nice. Is it a Gaming PC? Nah but its not trying to be.

It's my personal PS4 machine, i have a lot of PS5 games on it. but ive been chipping away at my PS3 and PS4 catalogue.
There are some games that run better on PS4 compared to PS5, so i keep my PS4 alive for now.

PS5's generation just starting because PS4's generation just ended so it's too early to judge it. You sound like people who bashed PS2 in its first 3 years comparing it to PS1 lol. So many game idea being hanged for PS5 generation right now because people cannot let go off PS4 lol. For years they are like "release this game on PS4 or else" BS, they even do so for the new Resident Evil game. Time to let go so PC Master Race™ can improve lol.

However so far the argument is "it doesn't have decent exclusives" when a point of a console is not exlusives but what games you can play on them. In that regard it not having exlusives and XBOXs games being released on that is a huge plus on you. IDK what people are smoking lol. They finally gave up on exclusive BS and it's a good thing. No console needs exlusives to sell. People basically buy a console they want to play games, so seperating game library is so nonsense. Then it makes it stupid to buy multiple consoles because your logic is "it would be waste of money because I already have a console at home", then it pushes people to piracy and emulators more. People can have many reasons to even refusing to buy a console itself despite they like its game library. It was just a nonsense BS I'm glad we are past behind.

In the end be glad you can play lots of games on PS5, it's not Virtual Boy or something lol.

It's even worse when you consider playstation is sitting on so much that they could be doing like: Playstation all-stars 2, sly cooper 5/remake/reboot, jak and daxter, ico remake, bloodborne remaster/remake, Medievil 2 remake and could even make smaller games. Both playstation and xbox really need to step up their 1st party games. Its really only Astrobot and demon souls remake that is carrying the ps5 over the xbox at this point.

There are some games that run better on PS4 compared to PS5, so i keep my PS4 alive for now.

TBH the only reason I keep my Death Stranding PS4 is cause its that model, and for Bloodborne TGS demo, Bloodborne since it glitches on PS5, the Final Fantasy XV demos, and P.T.

Otherwise I wouldnt need the machine.

i beaten Bloodborne on PS5 and didnt see any glitches , I DID however notice graphical hiccups on Until Dawn (PS4) and Senran Kagura Peach Beach Splash. But i have my PS4 for that. Even games like Natsuiro and Godzilla play better on my PS5, thank God because Natsuiro had 10-minute loading times on the PS4.

I wouldn't say that the Playstation 5 worst is it is no worse than the other Playstation generations a bit too expensive I would say and I find the story with the CD drive kind of stupid there should always be one CD drive and that's it. I am satisfied with it.

Yep, no exclusives anymore but they found a new BS:

Release the bad quality version game on PS4 and then sell the better game on PS5. Thus you can sell 2 consoles and thus video game developers profit too. They win-win but customers lose-lose lol. So same logic will exist for PS6 too. They release "between generation consoles" first and then they release the actual next generation console wow. So they will release PS6 that seems significantly better than PS5 and then they will release PS6 Pro, and then Super PS6, and then 512 Bits PS6 and then "Corcord 2 special edition PS6" and so on lol. $ony learned well from Nintendon't.

As a PC gamer I'm glad I left this video game console company BS behind me since PS2. Even back then the technical issue of PS1 models goes on and on even in next model (there shouldn't be different models of same console dude) was a big deal but I was sympathetic because it was the first console Sony released but same BS happened in PS2 too so I got I don't wanna be part of this romance of console scam so I just divorced from console gaming for good. I just buy a new PC every 10 years and call it a day. I still play games on my PC that I bought to play Witcher 3 machine lol.

But here is the question, Why are you trying to get a PS1/2/3/4/PSP/VITA out of a PS5?

Even worse, why would you use the over-expensive machine to watch TV? you have a TV for that or a cellphone.

You even have other consoles around.

Not your fault, not the PS5 fault, its the market showing it lack of creativity, since games are not developed by engineers nor artist but crude, talent-less, self-indulgent hacks that cry everytime their slops does not sell.

I recommend you to get a PC and a Nintendo, that is the best combination you will ever need, you can even skip the Nintendo and emulate the thing in due time, there is no reason to have a console now days.

The past consoles had limits which in turn made the people behind the development, engineer solutions for said limits, which in turn created creative ways to deliver games, not products, not services.

do yourself a favor and start saving for the PC components, whatever you build in the next 5 years will eclipse PS6 AND XBOX combined.

But to some people PC gaming is like trying to fly a plane while console gaming is like riding a bike. In the end it's not about need but preference. Then the actual topic turns into "why a person buy console X but not Y". Nintendo found a solution with a hybrid console system that you can play on your home TV and you can also play it wherever you go. Because of it Nintendo Switch idea is very useful.

However as you said PC gaming worths your while and it's not horror story as much as console gamers believes.

They think we have to buy new PC parts in every 2 years or something but in reality unless you have no care for RTX 144 FPS 4K gaming and you only care to play games in normal ways without caring about obsession then you may play games with same PC with minor changes like RAM for 10 years or so. Well I got used to low quality gaming so I'm ok if the game runs in 16 FPS. I can even go low as much as 720p, no biggie lol. So because they believe PC is something always has to change they wanna buy a console and play it for like 7 years. But the thing is if they are okay with low quality console games then they are okay to play games for like 10 years on same PC without even change but sometimes RAM change is needed but it's not biggie. And TBH they may imagine handling a PC is like being good at car engine or something but it's more like playing with lego lol. It's just obvious parts has to be inserted into obvious parts and that's it.

The other thing is they think we have to bother with playing PC games as much as how we back then played DOS games by writing special codes just to run the game lol. They think PC games tend to be buggy or usually we have to bother a lot to even play a game. But then what we did is very simple things, and kinda Windows 10 and 11 works like how new consoles are anymore. You auto-update and your PC is ready for gaming always, as much as how new consoles are. So it's not like trying to fly a plane anymore as much as they fear from.

At this point in this age if a person doesn't play the games on PC when they can IDK what are there excuses. Back then we had to get a console for exlusives but relatively not anymore. PC offers better ease of use and experience. You don't have to wait for game fixes because PC community and PC system make things fast and easy. You can customize game itself for your liking. IDK should we giveaway free cookies to convince people PC Master Race™ is better? lol

It's a pretty nice console, very smooth compared to Xbox Series X. I've had a great time with it and since I can play my PS4 backlog I have gotten some good time on it. Currently playing TloU2 and it looks fantastic now, it was very blurry on PS4.

you are probably too young to remember the PS3 on launch, that piece of crap was awful even when it got games it was a pain in the ass to deal with. We've come a long way from that.
